The challenge
A pharmaceutical manufacturer needed R&D space adjacent to controlled production areas — which meant furniture and finishes that satisfy a pharmaceutical quality system, not just a laboratory catalogue.
The build
Lab ID specified cleanroom-suitable benching, welded stainless steel work surfaces, and pass-box transfer between classifications. Materials and finishes were submitted for the client’s quality review before fabrication.
Certified outcome
The laboratory entered service aligned with the site’s quality system from day one. Surfaces, transfer points and benching were specified for the cleaning and validation regime they now live under.
